Simulation Centre of St. Anne´s University Hospital in Brno has been accredited the following courses:
Training Course for further teacher training in specialized medical subjects, the Ministry of Education.
- The course is divided into five modules; each of them contains several topics. Teachers can choose the modules according to the current needs. Modules: Providing care of invasive inputs, Nutritional Therapy, Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Communication with patients, Treatment of pain.
Training Course New approaches to patient care, the Ministry of Education.
- The course includes theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, participants attend seminars, which provide information about innovative new processes and materials used in patient care. The theoretical part is followed by a practical part - an internship in specialized departments at the St.Anne’s University Hospital in Brno.
Training Course Current techniques in prehospital and hospital care for patients in an acute condition, the Ministry of Education
- The course consists of intensive training, theoretical lectures and practical training of treating acute conditions (cardiopulmonary resuscitation, traffic accidents, internal states atc.). The course also includes teachers internships at the EMS (Emergency Medical Service) under guidance of experts.
Training Course Effective Communication in Health, Ministry of Education
- The course focuses on communication skills through simulation training. Simulation training enables training of non-standard situations that teachers may not encounter in current practices (eg. An aggressive patient, people affected by domestic violence survivors, etc.).
