Simulation training is an important part of modern education and is a natural part of education at foreign schools. In our approach, simulation training is focused not only on the training of realistically simulated situations, but especially on the problematic area of interpersonal communication.
We use a simulation model that is located on the border of normal teaching and practice in a real environment. Form of this model makes it easier to connect theory with practice, mainly thanks to an immediate feedback which participant receives from the trainers (psychologists) and other participants.
Experience acquired from simulation education allows participants to deepen their self-reflexive activity of the teaching and to choose an appropriate communication strategy. Participant is able to avoid inadequate reactions.
Indisputable advantage of simulation teaching is the possibility to learn from mistakes. Errors in simulation education are seen as a motivating opportunity for further education.
